The Sunday Estate are back, and to celebrate the release of their newest single 'Lost and Disappointed' (releasing on 28/11/22) they are throwing one last show for 2022 at esteemed Sydney venue, 'The Lansdowne Hotel'.
In 2020/21 the band released an EP that included singles, ‘Pray For Rain’, ‘Fight Me’ and ‘Bike Thief’. The songs have seen them pick up airplay on triple j, Beats 1 and KCRW. They’ve also recently supported Death By Denim and Stand Atlantic as well as appearing on the renowned School Night .
Formed in 2018, The Sunday Estate spent the year perfecting their craft, before they took to the stage in 2019 as they grew in confidence and size. 2020 saw the release of three songs, I Don’t Want to Be Alone, Give Me (Something) and Let’s Stop Pretending, the strength of the tracks largely in frontman Conor O’Reilly’s voice, his depictions of the intimacy of home life and the trials of childhood and young adulthood. Following the growing buzz surrounding the band and their heaving live shows, The Sunday Estate signed to indie tastemaker label Mirror Records, becoming part of the Mirror Music Group family, who have represented the likes of Gang Of Youths, Middle Kids, Clea, Sloan Peterson and Charlie Collins.
