THE KIFFNESS
(South Africa)
The Outbark Tour

Viral sensation The Kiffness will soon make the leap from the internet to Australian stages for the first time. A summery solo project of South African musician and producer David Scott since 2013, The Kiffness initially gained notoriety in his country through satirical songs about politics, but did not rise to global internet fame until 2020 with his Coronavirus parody song and fun “collaborations” with various animals and people from all over the world wide web. It seems he had struck internet gold, with his marriage of cute critters, existing viral sensations, memes, and jazzy tunes now garnering him streams and followers in multi-millions across all platforms - his YouTube channel is fast approaching ¾ of a billion plays in itself. Scott however did not leave his politically active roots behind, with many of his releases having raised funds for various animal welfare causes, charities, and even humanitarian aid for Ukraine. It’s time for some silly, self-aware fun on the all ages ‘The Outbark’ tour as when it hits Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane this September!
