Test and develop your combative skills and mindset under Special Forces protocols to qualify for KEF–IC Green Level certification!

The 'Green Mile' is a gruelling, 36-hour training camp designed to foster resilience and get you comfortable with combat stress. Modelled on the selection methods for Australian Special Forces (SAS and Commando regiments), it comprehensively evaluates and enhances participants' skills in Kinetic Fighting–Integrated Combat (KEF–IC), as well as their fitness to fight.

This inaugural camp is open ONLY to KEF–IC trainees who have completed the Grey Level modules — Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta and Echo — and have been, or are ready to be, graded to Grey-belt. (Grey Level revision and grading assessment will be covered in the first 6 hours of the course.)

If you want to take your combative skills to the next level and advance your KEF–IC qualification, this is for you. After completing and passing this course, you will need to also complete the other four Green Level course modules to be awarded your Green-belt. These are:

  • Foxtrot – Violence Prevention Essentials
  • Golf – Dynamic Threat Management (Prerequisite: Foxtrot)
  • Hotel – Home Defence & Intruder Response
  • India – Armed Combat: Edged Weapons
  • Juliet – Multi-Threat Response & Team Tactics

Note: The modules listed above will not be tested during the Green Mile, and are not a prerequisite to do the camp. They can be completed in any order, except where a prerequisite course is specified.

The Green Mile Camp

This camp is conducted by actual Special Forces instructors and offers a highly intensive, mentally challenging and physically arduous experience. With a focus on combatives application and mindset, you will be given the opportunity to test your comprehension and capabilities in regards to the core KEF–IC syllabus.

During this challenge you will come to understand:

  • Your specific weak points in combatives knowledge and execution, and how to overcome these
  • Your strengths in the combatives space, and how to use them to greater advantage
  • The mindset, mental conditioning and physical hardiness required to survive worst-case scenarios
  • The ethos and principles that govern teams of elite operators working in hostile conditions
  • The skills to interpret your environment in order to make effective decisions and solve complex problems while under mental and physical duress.

The camp culminates in a comprehensive individual feedback session based on your results, which will be recorded by the instructors throughout the camp. These instructors include highly experienced members of Australia's 2nd Commando Regiment (2 CDO) and Special Air Service Regiment (SASR), who are trained in SF close-quarter fighting (SF-CQF) and Close Personal Protection (CPP) in addition to KEF–IC and the Army Combatives Program.

Note, time should be allowed for recovery and debriefing after the 7 am finish. If you have questions concerning your eligibility, and for other inquiries, contact Kinetic Fighting.
