Iconic 90s WA act The Favourite Game are playing their first WA show in 25 years!
A three piece indie rock band that built a loyal following playing Perth’s pub scene across the 90’s, the band released the 5-track Purple Disc in 1992, one of the first independent CDs released by a Perth band, followed by the full length album ‘Timebomb’ in 1994, before moving to Melbourne. They returned now and again, bringing eastern states bands like Pollyanna and The Fauves with them.
‘The Game’ have been playing their complex, catchy pop rock with an unchanged line up for over three decades, lending their talents to a number of successful indie bands along the way.
While they have continued to write and record, including an album set for release this year, at this show the band will turn back the clock, playing their early material for fans and friends in a night of unashamed 90’s nostalgia.
Support comes from The Leap Year and the debut show from Tokyotronique
