‘Ultimo’ (released on December 13, 2024), features nine fresh new songs, with songwriting contributions from Baker, Salmon,  Perkins and Sujdovic. The album showcases the band at their peak and serves (with this line-up) as the final chapter, as the title suggests.

Accompanying the new studio album, featuring a self-portrait by James Baker on the cover, is ‘The Beasts Alive’. Recorded across two sold out nights during the 40th Anniversary of the Beasts of Bourbon shows at Sydney’s Factory Theatre and Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom in April 2023, this 11-track live recording includes a collection of Beasts’ classics & fan favourites (none of which appeared on the Limited Edition 5-track 45RPM 12” ‘be suburban’ which quickly sold out).
