The weather may be cooling down but things are just starting to warm up at SWITCH HQ.
We kick off the winter season with notorious Glaswegian Big Miz and rising Melbourne artist William Kiss at the helm.
Scotsman Big Miz has developed into a key producer and DJ to emerge from the city’s ever fertile house and techno field, having played numerous UK and European shows as well as recorded Boiler Rooms live from Sub Club and Fly Open Air festival.
Big Miz music is a playful and energetic mix of acidic tinges, 808 rhythms, disco inflections, techno swing and house music hedonism, combining his traditional music abilities and multi-instrumentalism with contemporary electronic equipment and production techniques.
With an obsession for groove, rhythm and soul, Melbourne born Producer and DJ William Kiss has a strong foothold on the ever evolving sound that is Techno. With a decisive focus on percussive elements, rumbling basslines and main floor hooks, William aims to create music that simply turns heads.
Having clocked up over 4 Million streams across his catalogue via labels such as Rekids, UNCAGE, Club Bad and Bush, William has the Midas touch recently dropping his 3 track ep ‘House Machine’ on Peggy Gou’s Gudu Records label on top of ‘Like This’ being supported by industry giants including Sarah Story, Danny Howard and Patrick Topping.
SWITCH frontman and resident DARKHORSE returns home after a short stint abroad and is joined by the ever present CA LOU & a SWITCH debut for Sydnery local Paddymac.
