Perth indie-rockers South Summit have returned from their breakout singles ‘River Days’, ‘Runaway’ & ‘Tired of Waiting’ to hit their stride with new track ‘Promise Me’. Formed in 2020, the 5-piece band are hitting all kinds of new heights, surmounting over 1 million all time streams across all platforms. Also busy on the road, South Summit have recently completed their second national tour, with a run of shows that saw them perform in Byron Bay, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Caringbah, Wollongong, as well as a sellout shows in Sydney, Melbourne and in their hometown of Perth. It’s been a big year for South Summit - labelled ‘Ones To Watch in 2022’ (by triple j Unearthed), as well as earning full rotation on triple j main station, who support the band across on-air & online features. This has culminated in the band filling rooms on their tour debut in May/June ‘22, packing East Coast stages in cities the young members hadn’t even set foot in previously. Balancing a memorable blend of psychedelic-indie-rock with hints of reverb & reggae, the band are ready to launch a range of new tracks to eagerly awaiting audiences across Australia later this year.
