SOMETHING FOR KATE
SPRING TOUR 2017

Something For Kate are excited to today announce their first Australian club shows in over 4 years as part of their SPRING TOUR 2017. Having started work on songs to follow up to 2012's critically acclaimed, Top 5 album Leave Your Soul To Science, this tour will see the band return to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. SFK emerge from an extended period of hibernation during which Paul Dempsey concentrated on extensive touring and activity around the release of his amazing 2nd solo album 'Strange Loop'. The band will take to the stage playing selections from their vast catalogue of songs that becomes ever more impressive and important with every passing year.

With a storied career that spans over twenty years, six top ten albums, 16 ARIA award nominations and countless sold-out tours, Something For Kate are at the height of their powers. Continually evolving, reinventing and experimenting, their consistently mesmerising live shows are a powerful reminder of the value of following a musical path with no compromise to make something of lasting value.

These headline performances will follow on from two sold out shows supporting Midnight Oil on their The Great Circle World Tour.

Joining the band on their Spring tour will be Melbourne cohorts Slowly Slowly. Mixing fragile storytelling with anthemic rock, their live performances are at once emotionally stirring and physically cathartic elements.
