WA's premier coastal festival
Shore Leave Festival
WA’s premier coastal festival, Shore Leave, returns to Geraldton from the 23 to 27 April, offering an unforgettable celebration of the Mid West’s maritime heritage, world-class seafood, and breathtaking landscapes.
At the heart of the festival is the Abrolhos Island Long Table Lunch, an exclusive dining experience set against the pristine backdrop of the Houtman Abrolhos Islands. Guests will be transported to this remote paradise to indulge in a multi-course feast crafted by renowned WA chefs, showcasing the freshest local seafood, including the region’s famed rock lobster. The event offers more than just fine dining—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime journey to one of Australia’s most stunning island destinations.
This year’s Shore Leave festival features renowned chefs Scott Bridger, joint partner of Bib & Tucker in Fremantle, and Ben Ing, co-owner of Alberta’s in Busselton and ex- head chef of Noma. Scott will headline the culinary experience at the iconic Abrolhos Long Table Lunch, while Ben will take the lead at the Mid West Paddock to Plate.
The Paddock to Plate is a farm-to-table dining experience like no other, celebrating the Mid West’s world-class produce and the passionate farmers behind it. Set in a picturesque rural location, this event brings together food lovers for an intimate feast. Enjoy a multi-course meal paired with premium wines and craft beverages while hearing the inspiring stories of the region’s Paddock to Plate producers.
Beyond the dining experiences, Shore Leave 2025 features a dynamic lineup of events, including seafood markets, live music, adventure tours, and immersive cultural experiences that showcase the Mid West’s unique history and natural beauty.
