In celebration of her seventh solo album ‘I Just Need To Conquer This Mountain’ which debuted at #6 on the ARIA Australian Album Chart, Sarah Blasko brings her tour to the Odeon stage in April 2025. An album of late night reflections on goodbyes, grief, new beginnings, and a cherished childhood friendship, Blasko’s highly acclaimed live show takes her sound to a simultaneously more expansive and intimate place.

“This album was probably the most relaxed and free feeling record I’ve made”, Blasko muses,  acknowledging a feeling of positivity and hope, while thematically traversing both the heartbreak and quiet calm that comes with letting go of your younger self. Tracing the inevitability of painful goodbyes in all their forms and the final acceptance that follows a period of grief, it sees Sarah Blasko firmly in the present as she searches for the light that comes with new beginnings.

Sarah Blasko is a 3 x ARIA Award winner, 18 x ARIA Award nominee, has won the J Award for Australian Album of the Year, and three times shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize. Her cover of Cold Chisel’s ‘Flame Trees’ (2004) had a resurgence when it was featured in Season 2 of Netflix’s Heartbreak High, spawning a remix by Cub Sport released this June. Blasko composed the music for Bell Shakespeare’s productions of Twelfth Night (2023) and Hamlet (2008), Sydney Dance Company’s Emergence (2013), and has been praised by the likes of Sir Elton John on his visit to James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke.

"Whenever I listen to Sarah Blasko’s albums I feel like I’m navigating a vast ocean, with hidden depths below and uncertain weather above, but on Eternal Return her songs bubble up like a clear, pure, mountain spring. It’s an invigorating tonic for the soul." —Dave Faulkner

“Sublime vulnerability with a dark undercurrent” —The Guardian (5 Stars)

“Part Alison Goldfrapp, Part Kate Bush Art-Pop machine” — Mojo

"Dripping with atmosphere, I’m sticking a “best yet” flag into this one” —The Crack (UK)

“Art Pop Composer Blasko delivers her sixth album, building on her already dynamic reputation of haunting and deeply moving songcraft” — Electronic Sound Magazine (UK)
