Rob Braslin and Friends
Rob Braslin is a proud Wakka Wakka man with a passion for stand-up comedy that has helped him make a name for himself in the vibrant nipaluna arts scene.
Over the years, he has opened for some of Australia's biggest comedy acts in pubs, theaters and festivals, name dropping includes Hannah Gadbsy, Tom Gleeson, Matt Okine and Steph Tisdell.
In 2023, Rob was recognized for his comedic talent and asked to host The Multicultural Comedy Gala at the Theatre Royal in nipaluna and Princess Theatre in Launceston.
After a decade of producing comedy shows around the state through CULT Comedy, Rob was asked to work with producers of the first Hobart Festival of Comedy to co-curate two shows, Resident Comedy and Club Chaos. Those shows featured local performers and had sell out audiences.
