Kiwi comic Ray O’Leary returns to Australia in 2024 in all his suited splendour with his brand new live show Your Laughter Is Just Making Me Stronger. Ray O’Leary is known for his deadpan delivery and iconic grey suit. His sharp wit and awkward bravado saw him sell out his 2023 show Everything Funny All The Time Always in his debut year in Australia. It also saw him nominated for Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

He is a staple on Australian TV screens with regular and unforgettable appearances on Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? The Cheap Seats (on which he is also a regular writer), Thank God You're Here and Taskmaster NZ. Incredibly funny for someone who looks like an accountant who has accidentally wandered on stage, Ray is a two-time nominee for NZ’s prestigious comedy award, the Billy T Award, and regularly sells out his New Zealand International Comedy Festival shows

“Every time I do stand-up comedy and people laugh, I get a little bit more strong. Soon, I will be the most powerful man in the universe. At the end of this show, I will be able to lift a Mazda Demio (that’s a type of car) above my head.” – Ray O’Leary

“A funny man. He’s got comic timing… Great, perfect timing.” – Matt Heath & Jeremy Wells, Radio Hauraki

“Very funny” – New Zealand Herald

“Showed a supreme mastery of using repetition to its absolute perfection.”

– The Ruminator
