It brings us great pleasure to introduce the third annual Port Kembla Festival.

1 Street. 10 Venues. 40+ Artists. 

Port Kembla Festival is a free-entry experience hosted by live music venues, vintage motorcycle stores, laneways & outdoor gardens along Wentworth St. The festival presents an exciting range of music from around Australia, set alongside markets, workshops and light installations in unexpected urban settings. 

The festival is produced by Holy Pavlova and supported by BlueScope WIN Community Partners, Multicultural NSW and Wollongong City Council; in addition to local legends Seeker Brewing, Principle Brewing, Hoochie Mumma Distilling and The Port Kembla Chamber of Commerce.

RSVP required for 18+ attendees. Under 18's don't need to register. Please note that although the festival is all ages, access for minors is granted on a venue by venue basis. Detailed information on this will be announced closer to the date.

The Bank Space is hosting a ticketed jazz and soul event as part of Port Kembla Festival, you can purchase these for $15+BF

Sadly, even a free festival has its limits! What does this mean for me? Once sold out, there are still a number of goodies to experience, even without a ticket. This includes vinyl DJ's at Black Metal Motor Co, markets at The Wentworth, "World of Food" at The Servo & light installations near Port Newsagency. Music venues such as Hoochie Laneway, The Servo and Iron Yampi may allow patrons without tickets, but this is at their discretion and people holding RSVP's will be prioritised. Best to get in early if you've snoozed on a ticket! Follow the updates on our event page or Instagram.

FAQ's

🌊 Is the event BYO? No. Venues are licensed.

🌊 Is the event all-ages? Yes! But the later hours can get loud for little ones.

🌊 What about dogs? Not everywhere, but The Servo stage is!

🌊 Is the event outside? Port Kembla Festival is a multi-venue festival, not a street festival. There is one outdoor stage hosted along Military Lane, our other stages unique indoor spaces along Wentworth St. Although you will find markets, DJ's and light projections hidden along the way between venue stops!

GENERAL INFO

Creating a safe space means a lot to us, so make sure to bring your good vibes and your manners. We will boot you out very quick if you make others feel uncomfortable.
