PETER BIBBY
Described as 'a naughty bastard with a heart of gold and a voice of rotting grapes' as well as 'a sweet cup of sauce', Peter Bibby has gained quite a lot of attention in a relatively short space of time. His debut album 'Butcher/Hairstylist/Beautician' was released last November. It came like a bat out of hell and bagged AOTW on radio stations and glamorous reviews.
By January Peter Bibby was playing high profiled events like Sydney Festival and by late February he had finished a national tour as part of Laneway Festival 2015.
In March he headed over to SXSW for several showcases and solo shows to support the release of his album in the USA on the uber cool Ma & Pa Records.
This May will be Peter Bibby's official album tour and debut national tour. This is one you don't wanna miss out on!!
NICHOLAS ALLBROOK
POND fronthuman, founding member of Mink Mussel Creek, ex-Tame Impala bass-player, one half of Allbrook-Avery, drummer with Peter Bibby and noise maker with many more, it's fair to say Nicholas Allbrook is an exceptioanlly talented bastard.
Ever since the days of sunshine and lazy teenage silliness, "Nicholas Allbrook", like the rest of his Perth comrades, has been ferreting away in bedrooms, buses, airplanes, studios and hotels making sounds and making songs. Departing Tame Impala in 2012. Nick used the MASS of free time to write and record his debut album titled "Ganough, Wallis and Fatuna", released through Spinning Top Records on September 5th, 2014.
The album has seen mass support from fans and critics alike, one fan including Ariel Pink who specifically requested Nick to support his last visit to Australia in 2014.
Due to Nick's insanely busy schedule playing in a million bands, this is a rare performance and an exclusive double bill for Adelaide only.
