Event Details

PBS is stoked to announce the next edition of MIDNIGHT DRIVER will be at Melbourne’s most loved nightclub REVOLVER UPSTAIRS on Thursday 24th April (ANZAC DAY HOLIDAY EVE with PBS DJs and a live band.

Midnight Driver showcases the renowned dance music DJs who present weekly programs on PBS and connect with dance party punters and the April event features MzRizk, Mike Gurrieri and Jonny Alexander.

Performing live will be six-piece disco group Steady Weather which features scene stalwarts Ben Grayson and Tamil Rogeon who bring to light organic dance music from Naarm’s rich dance and jazz community. With a lineage that leads directly to the founding of groups like Australian funk royalty The Bamboos and orchestral beat music pioneers The Raah Project, Rogeon and Grayson not only bring that heritage to their music, but they also bring a philosophy of raw emotion and soulfulness to their productions. This performance from Steady Weather will feature Rita Satch on vocals who us fast becoming an unforgettable presence in Australia’s neo-soul movement.
