Born from a deep love of rhythm and roots and driven by innovation PAPEYOTE is a powerhouse nine-piece ensemble that fuses the raw energy of funk, deep grooves of soul, hypnotic pulse of reggae, the mysticism of Andean melodies, the sensual sway of bossa, the grit of the blues and the improvisational spirit of jazz into one electrifying sound.
Their music is a journey across continents- blazing horn lines, tight rhythms and playful vocals bringing a vibrancy, whilst breaking the norms of musical tradition with every performance.
