We can’t wait to welcome you back to glorious Jimbour for a weekend of intimate opera and chamber music performances. This year, we’ll be opening the doors to the famed estate and debuting an exciting new format within the house and grounds, featuring stars from Opera Queensland and the state’s best chamber musicians.

The Opera at Jimbour program includes two breathtaking Gala events on Saturday and Sunday, a Hangar Concert under the twinkling lights featuring exquisite chamber music, a recital inside the opulent Drawing Room and exclusive tours through the halls of the historic Jimbour Homestead.

Make a weekend of it and immerse yourself for three relaxing days of music on the Western Downs.

Savour local produce, browse crafts by local artisans and sample bubbly beverages at the Jimbour markets. You can also camp on the grounds and enjoy a tasty meal at the camp kitchen.

Opera at Jimbour is a Queensland Music Trails event presented by QMF, Western Downs Regional Council, Opera Queensland and Jimbour Events, and  supported by Veracity, CS Energy, Evie Networks and the Trevor and Judith St Baker Family Foundation, and by the Australian Government through the Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund, and the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland’s Spaces and Places Activation fund.  The event is also supported by Tourism and Events Queensland and features on the It’s Live! in Queensland events calendar. QMF is an initiative of the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
