With 2025 promising to be a massive year for breakout Australian pop artist Oliver Cronin, he has today shared the deluxe edition of his EP ‘Halfway To Paradise’, poignantly titled ‘Edge Of Paradise’ via Warner Music Australia. This follows an Australian tour earlier this month with American pop star Natalie Jane, who he will be joining again on tour in March throughout Europe, and a performance at the Australian Open in Melbourne which was broadcasted on Stan.

‘Maria’ hears Oliver teaming up with Filipino band Lola Amour for a classic sounding boyband ballad that then kicks in with a big saxophone solo. While ‘Room For Two’ is an electric dark-pop song that quickly became a fan favourite in his live set earlier this month. These songs join the already released seven track collection which was heralded by the singles ‘Girl Next Door’ with Charley, ‘Burning House’, and ‘Hello Goodbye’.

With over 39.1 million combined streams, 1M TikTok followers, 412K Instagram followers, and 500K monthly listeners on Spotify alone, it’s safe to say that Oliver Cronin has all ears turned towards him right now. Receiving a nomination for “Best New Artist” at the 2024 Shure Rolling Stone Awards, he’s also had press love from GQ Australia, The Daily Telegraph, Sunrise, The Project, Nova’s Red Room, Rolling Stone Australia, Marie Claire, New York Post, 10 Magazine, Acclaim, and more.

2024 was notably a whirlwind year for Oliver with his sold out debut headline tour, performing at GQ Men Of The Year, YouTube Music Nights in Hong Kong, and rounding out the year performing a headline show in India. He spent a lot of the year travelling and performing with showcases and promo tours in America, Canada, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. The year was heightened by partnering with Warner Records globally, working with the team that has propelled artists like Teddy Swims, Benson Boone, and Zach Bryan to stardom.

2023 cemented his one-to-watch status with multiple viral successes with his TikTok remixes and livestreams. Interpretations of songs like ‘Paint The Town Red’ by Doja Cat, ‘Escapism’ by RAYE, and ‘3:15 (Breathe)’ by Russ introduced him to a whole new audience, while his livestreams have seen him creating new music and candidly showing viewers his creative process. He shared a couple of singles including the hypnotic ‘Speed Bump’ and the tropical-pop collaboration ‘I Need You’ with Lil Xxel which highlighted a well-crafted sound and an excitement to experiment. He featured on Connor Price’s viral track ‘RUBY’, Canadian rising star Lum’s ‘Temptation’, and collaborated with Joel Fletcher on ‘Her’, and Topic on ‘1,2,3’. On the touring front he opened for Nessa Barrett on her sold out Australian tour and performed at SXSW Sydney.

2022 saw him release his debut EP ‘Beautiful Nightmare’ which featured ‘Boys Don’t Cry’, a standout moment that has amassed over 10 million streams after it resonated with audiences on TikTok. In the process, it reached numerous corners of the globe hitting Spotify’s Viral Charts in Germany (#9), Czech Republic (#20), and Austria (#54), and most recently had a resurgence in 2024 with it climbing to #27 on the Spotify Viral Chart in Nigeria, and #8 on the Shazam Chart in India, as well as climbing the Shazam charts across Africa.
