Body language...

A composer doesn’t spend half a century on a single body of work unless they have something important to say. And Luciano Berio says it through his Sequenza – a collection of soloistic works that push the boundaries of their players. And we're going to elevate them even further in Obscura. Dancers will use the music as a canvas, shifting their bodies into gestures of comedy and expressions of tragedy. With choreography by Graeme Murphy AO, Creative Associate Janet Vernon AM and solo performances from TSO musicians.

The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra's Obscura series is an hour of sonic escapism with guest curators, eclectic music and immersive lighting. It's an orchestra, but not as you expect.
