New sounds from New York and Melbourne for violin, cello and piano.

Solstice Trio play new works by Missy Mazzoli, Florent Ghys, Xani Kolac, Andrea Keller and Anna Pidgorna, and present the Melbourne premiere of Pascal LeBoeuf's hyper-fluent Obliquely Wrecked (2017 Cortona Prize winner). 

The Tempo Rubato bar will be open from 5pm. 

Doors are at 7pm; the music kicks off at 7:30pm.

This concert is general admission so please arrive with time to secure your preferred seating.

Tempo Rubato is a brand new live music venue opening in Brunswick. Proceeds from the venue's bar support the Piano Project, a charity providing piano lessons for children who have recently immigrated to Melbourne, who wouldn't otherwise have access to them.

Tempo Rubato is an accessible and inclusive space, and is a licensed venue. All ages are welcome but children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
