NYE2022 Goat Island
Spectacularly set between the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Balmain, Goat Island offers a one-of-a-kind New Year's Eve experience. With front row views of the Harbour Bridge, you'll be up close to the fireworks and all the Sydney Harbour action.
Bring a picnic to share with family and friends, including responsible amounts of alcohol. Roll out your rug and settle in for an amazing night. It's a good idea to also bring a torch and radio, so you can listen to the New Year's Eve broadcast.
You can take a look at our full range of NYE events in Sydney Harbour. You can also visit the NSW National Parks website for further information.
Meet at the Barangaroo Wharf for ferry marshalling 30 minutes before your allocated ferry departure time.
Ferries depart Goat Island after the event at 12.30am and 1.15am on January 1st 2023
There are limits to what you can bring on the to Goat Island, because of the ferry's restricted carrying capacity. You can bring hand luggage that you can carry on your lap on the trip to the island.
