Brisbane’s favourite record store Jet Black Cat Music and Handsome Tours are once again teaming up for Nine Lives Festival, following its acclaimed debut in 2020.

The one-day, three-stage event will take place indoors and outdoors at the iconic Tivoli, and will be a very Brissy block party for lovers of tunes, mates and community. The event will feature an eclectic line-up led byPerth songwriter Stella Donnelly, King Stingray and #1 Dads.

Carefully curated from top to bottom, fans will be left in awe by South Sudan's King of Music, Gordon Koang. Melbourne will be representing all-day as psych-collective Bananagun bring their infectious grooves, six-piece Cool Sounds bend genres, Floodlights harken back to the sounds of 80s and 90s alt, and crowds lose themselves in Surprise Chef’s jazz-funk instrumentals.

New additions to the lineup CC:Disco! and Harvey Sutherland will be hitting the decks for DJ sets to keep you dancing all night. Plus, legends Quivers and WIIGZ will be joining the party!

If that’s not enough, Nine Lives has once again invited a bunch of the best up-and-coming acts from across the nation including Good Morning, Lucky Idiot, Maple Glider, Middle Name Dance Band, Dameeeela and Charly.
