FREE Music Industry Masterclasses for young people interested in a career in music

Learn new skills and meet your music community at The Push's Music Industry Masterclasses!

The Push's Music Industry Masterclasses is a FREE workshop series, giving young people the opportunity to develop practical skills and get the knowledge needed to pursue a career in music.

Through these workshops, you can expect to hear from industry professionals and meet with like-minded peers to expand your networks and gain the tools and advice needed for your pathway to a career in the Australian music industry.

Music Industry Masterclasses are delivered as a part of the Victorian Government’s Youth Strategy: Our Promise, Your Future.

Music Industry Masterclasses in October – Funding Your Music Career

Our next workshop will take place Thursday 19 October at The Channel, Arts Centre Melbourne with industry practitioners Beatrice Lewis (songwriter, performer and producer), Joel Ma (producer, rapper, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist) and Kim Williamson (artist manager, grant writer and music strategist). 

Learn how to make money in music! Join us and uncover the insider knowledge, diverse revenue streams and effective techniques to potentially boost income in the music industry. 

This session will be moderated by host of SYN Radio's SoulFood, The Hip Hop Show, Owen Gonsalves with a live music performance by JHM. 

There'll also be FREE PIZZA with vegan and gluten-free options.

While the program is FREE, registrations are essential to attend online or in person!
