Seemingly out of nowhere, young Perth based producer Christian Benson aka Luude has quickly risen to the forefront of a new wave of artists in Australia. Uploading his first track to soundcloud just one year ago, Luude has taken very little time in making a name for himself, garnering early support and co signs from some of the biggest names in the scene including Skrillex, Getter, Borgore, Riff Raff, The Chainsmokers, G Jones and Anna Lunoe at Beats1 to name only a handful. The past few months have seen Luude release singles with heavyweight imprints Buygore and Elysian, both of which received critical acclaim. His most recent record "Right Now" reached over a million plays on all streaming platforms in under 4 weeks and topped Spotify's viral charts in several countries. The entirely independant Luude 2.0 remix project has been met with an equal amount of fanfare with thousands of downloads and listens racking up on the account every day and stamping the name Luude down as one to watch this year. The online hype quickly spilled into the offline world with a string of shows at some of Australia's best events, including a huge Origin NYE opening for Skepta, RL Grime , Pusha T, and Yung Lean and shows around the country alongside Gent & Jawns , CRNKN, San Holo, Just A Gent, Milo & Otis , Myrne and Nina Las Vegas as well as numerous sell out headline shows.
