Event Details

Milou Moon celebrates the launch of their new single Acid Based Accounting with a night of dream psych and groove stylings at Shotkickers with support from ELMOWY x SMITH. Milou Moon will have copies of their new and currently unreleased EP Rêverie for sale at the event before its official release.

Milou Moon

Milou Moon is the psych rock/dream pop project of French-American musician Emily McGill (she/her). Originally from Chicago, Em resides and creates in Naarm/Melbourne on Wurundjeri land. Her unique brand of neo-psychedelia weaves ethereal vocal melodies, driving grooves, and lush instrumental textures to create sonic dreamscapes.

ELMOWY x SMITH

ELMOWY x SMITH is the collaboration of bassist Amar Elmowy and keyboardist Lachie Smith, who seek to fashion a jazz-house perspective with dustings of RnB and broken beat. Through extended improvisations and a rotating lineup of musicians, the duo creatively balance timelessness and novelty.
