Proudly Presented by PBS.

Edd Fisher has carved out a niche for himself as someone respected and loved by dancers and selectors alike. He has a joyful attention to detail, from the fidelity and quality of the music he plays, to the experience of the patrons of his dancefloors.

As a founder of Melbourne’s Wax’o Paradiso, you’re as likely to find him shucking oysters at the Cafe del Murray as you are to find him bringing down the proverbial walls at festivals such as Golden Plains, Strawberry Fields, Dark Mofo, Pitch, and Love International. As versatile a selector as they come, he casts a wide musical net over his DJ ethos, encompassing smoky cosmic balearica, charging industrial machine music and the soaring voices of the disco greats.

Stylistically, Emelyne is revered for her versatile bag of selections, with a special affinity for UK-inspired sounds, bombastic broken beat, forward-thinking rhythmic productions and booming dub. From the sweetest slow jams, the deepest darkest low end frequencies, largely influenced by sound system culture with roots in soul, jazz and post-punk. Her prowess behind the decks has led her to support esteemed artists far and wide including Azu Tiwaline, Loefah, Sully, Mark N, HTRK, Aya, Yaeji and Kush Jones to name a few, as well as grace iconic stages like Soft Centre, Sydney Opera House (Vivid), Inner Varnika, Potato Head Bali, Golden Plains Festival, Strawberry Fields, Sun Cycle and beyond.
