Revolver Upstairs puts Australia Day weekend to good use showcasing some of our favourite home grown talent releasing cutting edge music to the world.

The Melbourne Deepcast return with another instalment in their various artists series: ‘MDC Mates’. Returning for the label's fifth release, Andy Hart teams up with Berlin’s Max Graef on the A side with Super Strain and Max's own Sensation. On the flip, MDC welcome new comers The Tortoise and Melbourne’s M5K to get up to get down on the B side. Those familiar with the label will feel right at home as Hart & Graef focus on bringing old samples to life once again, whilst on the B side M5K and The Tortoise wrangle drum machines, synths and vocoders to take control and round off what we think is one of our best records yet.

Its been a minute since we've collaborated with the MDC boys so we're wrapped to have them back this Australia Day weekend featuring all the local participants on MDC005 - Andy Hart, The Tortoise and M5K joining Mike Callander, Who and Sunshine at Revolver Fridays for an Australia Day Eve workout, plus Mi Casa DJs Luke McD, Silversix, Hey Sam, Lucca Tan, Torren Foot, Eddie Stephens and Code Luke on the stage from 1am.
