Look forward to a night of dancing and partying hard. 'Maybe in May' will be accompanied on this beautiful Thursday evening by friends 'The Drive Bys’ and ‘Atlantic Avenue’. Showcasing their talent in a range of genres, their music appeals to anyone and everyone.

‘Maybe in May’ the Sydney/ Gadigal Land based band began in early 2022. After years of various projects, bands and duo’s, lead singer, Marissa Charlotte found her sound and started this new five piece band. Their songs showcase a multitude of genres ranging from folk-rock to funk-pop to alternative-indie. The lead singer, Marissa has powerful yet sweet vocals that are influenced by the likes of “Paramore’s” Hayley Williams and Hannah Joy from “Middle Kids”. The lyrical content of their songs fill the room with a vulnerability that creates a relatable and safe space for their audience.

‘The Drive Bys' are a Sydney based alternative rock band, heavily influenced by ‘Nirvana’, ‘Red Hot Chilli Peppers’, ‘Radiohead’ and many others. They want to give their audience something to call their own and relate to through their love of performing and music. Their sound is versatile for either a heavy or chill time, they’ll be there whenever you need and for whatever you feel you need.

‘Atlantic Avenue’ comes from Sydney's upper North shore, a group of four mates who met in school, after many attempts at different incarnations ‘Atlantic Avenue’ was born. Struggling to come up with a name, after a drunken game of Monopoly they let the board decide. Whichever tile all four of them landed on during the game would be the name of the band. Fortunately they all missed ‘Community Chest’. The band draws their influences from the likes of ‘Freddy Mercury’, ‘Peachpit’, ‘Green Day’ and ‘Arctic Monkeys’ to name a few.
