Wonky folk-rock
Celebrating the release of their debut album “We Are The Kids”, Melbourne Freak-Folk outfit Wybie take over the Lazybones lounge for the Sydney leg of their tour.
Wybie, the brainchild of guitarist, producer and songwriter Kyle Muir, is an exploration into song craft with a DIY attitude. The 4-piece band plays wonky folk-rock that is influenced by an abundance of styles including Jazz, West African music and Irish folk music. Their sound has been likened to artists such as Cass McCombs, Joni Mitchell and Radiohead.
