Americana twang meets dirty rock and roll

The Pleasures are Catherine Britt and Lachlan Bryan. Expect Americana twang mixed with dirty and roll.

It’s a collaboration that began with a few late-night texts and quickly spiralled into a feverish week of writing and recording in Melbourne.

The duo will come together for only a handful of orchestrated shows. First single, ‘The Beginning of the End,’ is full of the sass and spark you’d expect from this pairing. Themes of recklessness and lust abound. It’s heavy and satisfying just the way classic Country and Americana should be - the perfect antidote for these austere times.

Britt and Bryan’s perfectly matched vocals will holler over a stomping, swaggering band, leaving us in no doubt that The Pleasures have come out swinging! Their first live show in Melbourne stunned the live audience as The Pleasures road-tested new material with everyone feeling mighty encouraged!
