Chordless Quartet Jazz

Originally from Brisbane, Trumpeter Lachlan McKenzie relocated to Sydney in 2021. Since this move, Lachlan has had the opportunity to learn from exceptional musicians/educators including Phil Slater, Will Vinson, Matt McMahon, and perform with leading Sydney musicians/groups such as James Morrison, John Harkins, Andrew Robertson Big Band, Hammerhead, Andrew Dickeson, Aaron Blakey, ANJO Youth Big Band, and Dave Panichi Big Band. Lachlan recently toured his quartet to Osaka, Japan to perform at the 25th annual Takatsuki Jazz Street Festival.

Along with Lachlan on trumpet, this special performance will feature the fantastic Japanese tenor-saxophonist Ro Hasegawa, on his debut visit to Sydney, along with local legends Jacob Graham and George Greenhill on double bass and drums, respectively.
