JC Stylles returns from New York City (home since 2005), for ONE SHOW ONLY with original bandmate members Darren Heinrich (organ) and Andrew Dickeson (drums)  (from his earlier “Live & Unveiled” recording release) in the specialty Guitar/Organ/ Drum format on Sunday 19^th March at Lazybones.

JC's time in New York saw him grace the stages of such organ giants as  Jimmy McGriff, Dr Lonnie Smith, Joey DeFransesco, Tony Monaco, Pat Bianchi, Seleno Clarke, Jimmy “Preacher” Robbins, Melvin Davis, Nathan Lucas, Jared Gold, Brian Charette ,Akiko Tsuruga and many others. 

His recording “Ex-hil-a-ra-tion and other states” on Grammy Winning Label Motema Music,( featuring Pat Bianchi on organ and Lawrence Leathers on drums and produced by Grammy winning producer Jack Kreisberg), received rave reviews from those in the know , lasting 13 weeks on the USA Jazz Charts Top 50. His follow up album "Blakey Grease",  went on to win the highest debut slot on the USA Jazz Charts when released at Number 15, before racing into the Top 5 in a hotley contested market, and exceeded 15 consecutive weeks in the Jazz Charts Top 50 releases!

He has performed from the East to the West Coast of the USA, and abroad to Paris, before producing, performing and hosting the biggest Memorial Concert of 2020 at Jazz at Lincoln Centers’  “Dizzy’s Club” (just prior to the NYC Covid shutdown) in honour of his fallen bandmate Lawrence Leathers, featuring Grammy Winners  Trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, and Vocalist Cecile McLorin Salvant amongst many others. 

JC Stylles revisits Sydney for the first time since 2005 to bring his sound and story to Lazybones audiences, and share some of his Harlem Flava in this Trio format for One Show Only.
