Little Birdy are very excited to announce here and now their national CONFETTI album tour starting in Townsville on Saturday May 2nd and working its way right around the country ending in their beloved home town of Perth on Saturday May 30.
Katy, Simon, Barney & Matt are ready to hit the road and are armed with an album full of new songs to play you. Weve spent so much time perfecting the new songs and we cant wait to play them for all of you. Its felt like a long time coming and we are looking forward to having these songs come alive on stage. said the bands 25-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist Katy Steele.

If youve been paying close attention youd know that the albums opening song - Brother was released as a free download a few months back and became the most played track of the month on Triple J during February. The raw-boned track features guest vocals and harmonica from Australian music legend Paul Kelly.
The lead single from CONFETTI is Summarize an up tempo stomp already a live fave that will hit the airwaves in late March along with the video directed by the award winning team at Head Pictures whose credits include clips for Silverchair and Bernard Fanning.
We can also exclusively reveal here your first look at the CONFETTI album cover featuring Katy Steele. The cover reflective of the albums sound and the Summarize video, which fuses imagery from the Stax & Mowtown era.
Supporting Little Birdy on the CONFETTI national tour are quirky Melbourne four piece Oh Mercy, their current single Seemed Like a Good Idea is out now.
