LINCOLN LE FEVRE & THE INSIDERS

Lincoln le Fevre & the Insiders made waves around the country with the launch of their second album Resonation. The 2012 release made many people’s top ten lists, with lyrics that have been shouted high into the air in packed, sweaty rooms and tattooed on flesh the world over.

To celebrate ten years since the album’s release, the band will play Resonation in full for the first time ever, and with a full line-up of guitars, keys and steel.

The Insiders are a band of many shades and they will be bringing them all to the Brunswick Ballroom.

For all those who used to breathe with fire, it’s time to remember what it was like to Get Drunk, See Bands.

Flirts with the edges of emo and folk-rock remain, but here le Fevre’s plainspoken approach partners with an equally straight-shot arsenal of punk throttles and pub-rock fist pumps. (Rolling Stone)

Come Undone is an honest and engaging release from one of Australia’s most consistently great songwriters. (The Brag – Album of the week)

It’s easy to get lost in the mystical feel of this album. It’s velvet rock that will soundtrack your summer roadtrip and make the summer stretch on forever. (Forte)

The Insiders will be joined by Suzi and her band. Sincere, honest and a mess at the best of times, Australiana-folk artist Suzi is unafraid to kiss and tell, breathing new life into alternative Australiana folk-rock. Serving up honest and relatable lyrics, weaved into high energy instrumentals, she creates tracks that will hold your hand through the darkest times.
