Q: Why is KFC throwing this event? 

A: We love all things Hot and Spicy, and to celebrate its triumphant return we wanted to showcase its flavours in all their glory, we’ve designed the menu to highlights the flavours of KFC Hot & Spicy across several delicious courses.

Q: When is the event being held? 

A: Saturday October 5th and Sunday October 6th.  

Q: Where is the event being held? 

A: The sittings will be taking place at Spice House in Spice Alley - 18 Kensington Street Chippendale.

Q: Accessibility for people with a disability 

A: The front entry to the event is situated up a small flight of stairs. For attendees that require wheelchair access a secondary entry point has been created at the back of the venue. If you require extra assistance, please let us know at the time of booking.   

Q: What is being served on the menu? 

A: The dishes include:

•    Hot & Spicy Drumsticks:  A twist on the classic. Hot & Spicy drumsticks infused with our signature herbs & spices. 

•    Hot & Spicy Mixed Pieces: Spoiled for choice. Hot & Spicy mixed pieces paired with your choice of 6 exclusive sauces. 

•    Hot & Spicy Symphony of Sauces: Six bespoke sauces, each designed to complement the Hot & Spicy flavour explosion at different levels of spice, including ‘Blazen Hot’, ‘Simply the Zest’ and the ‘11 Spice Sauce’, the hottest sauce to ever grace a KFC menu. 

•    The Zing Leader: Double breaded, double delicious. A succulent sliced Zinger Fillet coupled with coleslaw and our exclusive Blazen’ Hot Sauce. 

•    Wicked Wings with Extra Zing:  Wickedly decadent. KFC Wicked Wings drizzled in Chilli Relish, enhanced by fresh Spring Onion. 

•    Zinger Chocolate Mousse: Sweeten the deal. Our indulgent Double Chocolate Mousse served with Raspberry dust and infused with our world-first spicy and sweet Zinger Sundae Sauce, served in a syringe for fans to inject the flavour into the center of the dish.

Q: Are there vegetarian options? 

A: Unfortunately, the majority of the courses feature KFC’s delicious chicken, however the chocolate mousse, bread rolls and KFC Chips are all vegetarian.

Q: Does the menu cater for specific dietary needs?

A: No, unfortunately the set menu at the Colonel’s Spice House does not cater to any specific dietary needs, it is a set menu with no available alternatives or allowance for food allergy’s .

Q: I can’t go to the event. Can I still try the items on the menu? 

A: While the featured dishes will only be served at the Colonel’s Spice House our delicious Hot and Spicy is returning to Menus from Tuesday 1 October to Monday 28 October.

Q: What menu options for Hot & Spicy are there?    

A: Fans can get their hands on Hot & Spicy as a standalone feed or as part of a meal in the Zinger Box, 3 Piece Box or Family Feast. As always, Hot & Spicy is here for a good time, not a long time so get into a KFC store or order via the app and treat yo’ self.

Q: Can I purchase other food and alcohol at the club?    

A: No, The Colonel’s Spice House has a set menu of dishes for the duration of the sitting.

Q: What can’t I bring with me to the event? 

A: Bags may be searched on entry for banned/prohibited items. 

Banned/prohibited items: 

•    Alcoholic beverages 

•    Illicit drugs 

•    Full or partly full plastic bottles of water or soft drink etc 

•    Flares, fireworks, or explosives 

•    Laser pointers 

•    Knives, guns or other dangerous weapons including potential missiles 

•    Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades or bicycles 

•    Glass or breakable containers 

•    Horns, whistles and megaphones or other musical instruments that may cause a nuisance 

•    Cans or metal containers 

•    Video and audio recording devices including GoPros (other than mobile phones) 

•    Professional still cameras 

•    Umbrellas 

•    Selfie sticks 

•    Any other items considered illegal or dangerous 

•    Any political, religious or race-related materials 

•    Strictly no animals (with the exception of service or assistance animals, such as guide dogs) 

Q: Why do you need to be 18+ to attend? 

A: It's a licensed venue and alcohol will be served as part of the menu for ticket holders meaning minors can’t be in attendance.

Q: Is KFC making a profit from the event? 

A: Nope, we're putting on this event for the love of spice. Even better, our profits from ticket sales are going to KFC’s Youth Foundation, which means the money will be split evenly between The Black Dog Institute and ReachOut Australia.

Q: Why does KFC support those charities? 

A: The KFC Youth Foundation is our way of helping Australia’s youth. With over 90% of our workforce under the age of 25, supporting Aussie youth is something we're passionate about. These three charity partners do amazing things to help the mental wellbeing of young Australians, so we're thrilled to be able to support them. 

Q: How can fans get hold of tickets to one of the sittings? 

A: Tickets for the Saturday sessions are available from Tuesday 2nd October 2024 at 11:11am AEDT and tickets for the Sunday sessions are available from Wednesday 3rd October at 11:11am and can be purchased above.

Q: How long do the sittings last for?

A: Each session will run for an hour so be sure to arrive promptly to enjoy your free-flowing KFC at the Colonel’s Spice House.

Q: How much are tickets? 

A: Tickets are $30 each plus booking fee and must be purchased as a pair.

Q: Will there be a name change facility? 

A: Tickets can be transferred into someone else’s name via the Moshtix website. 

Q: Will the event be photographed or recorded?

 A: The event may be recorded or photographed for marketing purposes. By purchasing a ticket, attendees consent to be included in any audio recordings, audio-visual recordings and photographs of the Event created by, at the direction of, or with the authority of the KFC (Materials).
