Jordan Allen - Live at Oxford Art Factory
After three years out of the game Jordan Allen has re-emerged - far from home. The acclaimed Manchester, UK based musician who rose to fame in the 2010’s playing festival stages up and down the country including Reading and Leeds, Kendal Calling and Isle of Wight Festival, supporting artists such as Blossoms, The Reytons and Tom Grennan on tour is back and touring Australia. The man behind indie anthem ROSIE and many more has been ominously quiet since the bands decision to call a hiatus following the release of their “first and final” album ‘The Most Amazing Waste of Time’.
Big news came in late 2022 as ROSIE was used as the theme song to Sky’s hit TV series ‘Rosie Molloy Gives Up Everything’, but again things fell quiet. Then all of a sudden, as 2023 came to a close, a surprise sell out show in Darwin, NT of all places kicked off a series of acoustic shows. It appears Allen has reignited a flame which once burned so bright after being invited to support up and comers The Deenys in Perth, Allen has now confirmed his first show ever in Sydney. This intimate acoustic performance at Oxford Art Factory which comes with support of Sydney favourites The Sooks should be one to remember.
