Jet City Sports Club are a 4-piece indie/rock outfit from Sydney, Australia. The band blend influences of 90s Guitar Music, Pop and Aussie Indie. They have an infectious guitar driven sound topped with shimmering vocal melodies and lead lines. 

Heralded as Triple J’s first ‘Lunchtime Legends’ of the 2021 Requestival week for their track ‘Redfern Station’ and with constant Unearthed rotation and Playlisting, Jet City Sports Club have carved a strong name for themselves in the Aussie scene in under 2 years as a band. 

The band formed in mid-2020, just as the Sydney lockdown was starting to ease and were in the studio within 3 months with a 5 track EP. ‘Bloodhounds’ and ‘Spinning Me Out’ were the band’s first two explosive offerings,  'September Sun', their debut EP then followed with the closing track ‘Redfern Station’ earning a Spotify editorial playlist and Triple J Unearthed Rotation. 

The band then released ‘Hurricane’ which saw a move to a more mature and delicate sound. ‘She Don’t Need No One’ was released in February and saw an immense step up in the band's production and songwriting finesse. The track became an instant crowd favourite and has prepared Jet City Sports Club for the rest of the year. 

Armed with over 150k listens across platforms and a growing following, the band are set to take on the rest of the year with upcoming indie-hit ‘Green Thumb’ due August 9th.
