They are the coolest, most elusive members of Melbourne's jazz elite and are usually found in dark, smoky rooms around Melbourne, late at night, giving impromptu performances for those lucky enough to be hanging around when they decided to play. Until now.

Jazz Party is a loose collective of jazzbos known for their sporadic take-over of unlikely spaces across Melbourne. The Melbourne Bowling club takes on the dark, cool and dangerous vibe of Melbourne's underground jazz scene, as players pump out a slippery mix of jump blues, boogie and rhythm and blues. Shouting, drinking and slow dancing with strangers encouraged.
