Having just released their new album 'I Didn't Get To Where I Am Today' to a packed and enthusiastic house at Lazybones in June, Hammerhead return to Lazybones playing tunes from their recent release plus some brand new material. Expect a high octane, dynamic performance from one of Sydney's finest original jazz ensembles.

Joel Jenkins is a well-established pianist who has performed internationally and with the likes of Glenn Shorrock (Little River Band), Casey Donovan, Lakecia Benjamin (New York), The Illusionists 1903 (worldwide). Joel is returning with his trio after a long hiatus.
The trio which consists of Sydney heavyweights David Quinn (bass) and Alex Hirlian (drums) draws on influences ranging from Brad Mehldau, Robert Glasper & J Dilla, and has been described has ‘having a beautiful balance between complexity and simplicity’, this is a definitely a trio not to miss!
