HEXMAS — with Pulverised Cranial Matter, Permafog, Iciclan + Smack Head
This December HEXMAS returns to Altar Bar for an evening of brutality, blasphemy, black metal and musical intensity.
PULVERISED CRANIAL MATTER
Hailing from Burnie, Tasmania, Pulverised Cranial Matter formed in 2012 to unleash their brand of "Slamming DAD Metal" upon the world. With guttural vocals, serrated guitar riffs, earthquaking bass, and relentless drums, they conjure a brutal symphony of chaos.
PERMAFOG
Permafog return for their annual stab at the throat of the pious. Fresh from their debut album launch in early 2024, Permafog have been busy writing a second opus and preparing new material to debut on this deadly live assault.
With a big 2025 on the horizon, this quintet of depraved and decrepit degenerates have only cold hearts for the waiting audiences.
ICICLAN
Mysterious and caustic, this Black Metal enigma tells tales of forgotten lore with intensity and purpose.
4 Years of silence, the noise that returns will be one to avoid, for the sake of sanity.
SMACK HEAD
Smackhead blends hardcore and metal with intense energy. Lyrically tackling personal struggles, sex, death, and the human experience, backed by sharp, technical instrumentals. Raw, explosive, hard hitting brutality.
