A message from the artist: 

I regret to inform you that I will be unable to play my shows this weekend due to the need to discourage social gatherings to help curb the Coronavirus Pandemic. I feel, at this sad time, that it would be irresponsible to go on with the shows and I’ll be self-isolating for the recommended 14 days due to my partner having recently returned from the UK. We hope to announce rescheduled dates when more is certain about the future. Please take care of yourselves.

Today, it is with great pleasure that I OH YOU release Hayley Mary’s debut EP The Piss, The Perfume into the world and announce headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne in March.

2018 saw Hayley Mary explode onto the scene with debut single ‘The Piss, The Perfume’, followed closely by the indelible ballad ‘Ordinary Me’ and recently released anthem ‘Like A Woman Should’. These articulate tracks explore the contradicting attitudes that co-exist in the current climate; irony and optimism, love and societal despair, and the EP exists as an extended expression of Hayley’s unapologetic desire to want more and to want better.

Hayley’s intrinsic ability to write music that is both familiar, yet a breath of fresh air, whilst also striking an emotive chord through her potent lyricism and welding of tension and release is showcased on The Piss, The Perfume and has seen Hayley attract widespread global appeal.
