It’s very rare for an award-winning artist to perform songs they haven’t publicly released. It’s even rarer for them to invite you into their creative process and explain how & why they wrote those songs. 

On March 15th, A.GIRL will do exactly this in what she’s calling “The Cook Up” – sharing songs she’s been writing in the studio. It’s a special, one-off show as part of Great Southern Nights. She is testing new material on new ears and welcoming feedback, live and in person. She’s chosen a venue where she can see the whites of your eyes as you experience her art for the first time – LazyBones in Marrickville.

A.GIRL is an award-winning R&B singer and rapper who has captured the attention of Australia’s hip hop tastemakers. She was nominated for Best Live Act and won Next Big Thing at the FBi Awards, has the most views for a female rapper on triple j’s Bars Of Steel, has hosted triple j’s hip hop show and sold out her only two headline shows in Sydney so far including the Sydney Opera House for Vivid 2022.
