Giddy up folks! It's time to celebrate country!

Gippsland Country Music Festival 2023

Saturday, 22 April 2023 | Lardner Park, Gippsland, VIC

For our third edition, we're coming back bigger and better than ever before, and are excited to reveal that camping is now available at our new festival home of Lardner Park! Collectively our 2023 lineup has won a staggering 122 Golden Guitar Awards. We couldn’t be more excited to be welcoming them all to Gippsland!

Situated just 12kms from Warragul and 90 minutes east of Melbourne, our brand new site at Lardner Park consists of spacious green fields surrounding a central lake, all encapsulated by hills rolling on into the distance - the perfect backdrop to celebrate all things country.

Gippsland Country showcases Australia's best country music including well-known legendary artists as well as the most exciting up-and-coming live acts. It’s also jam-packed with entertainment, from woodchopping, to line dancing classes, artist signings, gumboot tossing, cowboy karaoke, market stalls and a host of delicious Gippsland food and drinks including Smokehouse BBQ, food trucks and onsite bars.  Join us for great music and all-around good times.

Age Restrictions: This is a family-friendly, all-ages festival.  Anyone under the age of 10 will require the purchase of a CHILD ticket alongside the purchase of an ADULT ticket.  Attendees between the ages of 11-17 will require a YOUTH ticket alongside the purchase of an ADULT ticket which is available above. Anyone under the age of 18 is required to attend with a parent/legal guardian.  Please note, all attendees require a ticket, regardless of age.

Reusable Crockery Set: This year we are striving to have as little landfill waste as possible through our partnership with our good mates at B-Alternative. We believe we can reach this goal by creating an entirely reusable crockery system. This will see all of our amazing vendors having reusable crockery, instead of single-use packaging.

To get involved, just add on a Reusable Crockery Set ($10 + bf) when purchasing your tickets. Once at the festival, you'll receive two B-Alternative wristbands that you can trade for a crockery item while purchasing food or drinks. You then get your wristbands back when you drop off your used crockery items. Nice and easy!

Plus, when you return your wristbands at the end of the festival, you can either receive $5 back, or if you want to try your luck at winning some amazing prizes you can choose to donate it to our local regenerative project.

Accessibility: Each year at Gippsland Country Music Festival we hope to improve our practises to ensure everyone has a fun, safe and enjoyable time with us. If you have any access requirements you would like to share with us, please complete our Accessibility Contact Form where you can let us know what we can do to help you enjoy Gippsland Country Music Festival.

Our new home at Lardner Park is well lit and has great walkways and paths throughout the event site for anyone who has any accessibility requirements. There will also be a dedicated viewing area for those that need a bit of room and somewhere where they can easily see the stage.

We will have a dedicated Access Liaison onsite to assist you with your journey to and from the festival. We recommend completing the above Accessibility Contact Form if you would like our team to reach out to you to discuss how we can help.
