The Music & Booze Co presents
Ghost Mutt ‘Años Migraños’ album launch
with Good Pash & kryver
Descending on The Trocadero Room for their first ever Eora nation show, Ghost Mutt (Meanjin/Brisbane) are coming to town to launch their sophomore album, Años Migraños. Crooning, wailing and occasionally inward screaming, they hurl their special brand of moody pop-rock into the universe - countering the roar of existence with earnest bilingual lyricism and good humour. Layering harmonies, synths and spacey guitars alongside crunchy distortion and pop hooks, Ghost Mutt exhibit a palette of contemporary influences like Ball Park Music, Wet Leg and Alvvays, melded with the sounds of heritage favourites including Blur and Dandy Warhols. Invited to share stages with the likes of Girl and Girl, West Thebarton, Full Flower Moon Band, Clea, Babitha, Cool Sounds and Jade Imagine, the band have built a reputation for a fierce live show which satiates its audience’s craving for connection and communion. They’re joined by local gems Good Pash and Kryver.
