Gareth Liddiard, Jim White and Chris Abrahams are playing an exclusive show at the Brunswick Ballroom, to get warmed up before heading into the studio to record new material for an upcoming album.  Due out later in the year, the album will combine elements of free-jazz, lyricism, improvisation, avant-garde and experiment noise.

Chris Abrahams is best known as the keyboard player from avant-garde free jazz trio The Necks but has also played with the Laughing Clowns, The Church, The Triffids and Midnight Oil among others. The Necks were described by the New York Times in 2017 as “the greatest trio on Earth”.

Jim White has played for years with The Dirty Three as well PJ Harvey, Marianne Faithfull, Cat Power, Bonnie Prince Billy, Smog, Nick Cave, Xylouris White and many others.  The Dirty Three were described by The Guardian as “one of the world’s best living bands.”

Gareth Liddiard was the founding member and singer songwriter and guitarist for The Drones, he has a solo record and now works with sci-fi experimental mud pop group Tropical Fuck Storm.

Iggy Pop on BBC radio described Tropical Fuck Storm as a “nice band” and “a good fuck”.
