Freya Josephine Hollick, the old world country songbird from the Victorian goldfields plays a rare headline show fresh from a string of festivals this year including Nannup Music Festival, Boogie Festival, Gumball, Broadbeach Country Music Festival, Gympie Music Muster, Kyneton Music Festival, Out on the Weekend & Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival before she gears up for her debut at Queenscliff Music Festival in late November. Old-timey country, blues and honky tonk goodness that transports you back to early Appalachia, through wartime romance, the golden era of country music and into a cosmic hootenanny with a voice that floats between Maybelle Carter, Dolly Parton and Skip James.
