dogworld strikes a mercurial sound, a vivid collision of modern post-punk and indie rock, tethered by razor-sharp melodic intuition. The four-piece have made waves in Canberra since forming in 2021, with their trademark raw, energetic performance style. Now based in Melbourne, dogworld are a vital act to watch in 2025 – the release of their debut EP ‘RANGE’ (2024) drawing attention from the likes of Rolling Stone, Anthony Fantano, KEXP, and NME.

Support for national acts: DZ Deathrays, Phantastic Ferniture, Shady Nasty, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Armlock, Slowly Slowly and Alex Lahey - dogworld captivating live shows have seen them perform widely across Australia, as well as showcase at Sydney’s SXSW.

‘FISHSACK’, ‘777’, and ‘DASHCAM’, broke through to international acclaim across NME, Rolling Stone, Anthony Fantano (theneedledrop), KEXP, The Matt Wilkinson Show (Apple Music Radio 1) and BBC Radio 6’s Nabihah Iqbal. Locally, dogworld has become a fixture in the Australian music scene with features on ABC RAGE (Wild One), Triple J, Pilerats, Life Without Andy, and FBi Radio, solidifying their position as one of the most exciting bands to emerge in recent years.

2025 brings the release of ‘inmypocket’, a fierce new single that blends their enthralling post-punk sensibilities with airtight melodic hooks. With a national tour to follow, dogworld show no signs of slowing down.

‘New Australian band worth your time’ - Matt Wilkinson (Apple Music Radio 1)

‘Thrilling Post-Punk, the quartet masterfully balances hard and soft, frenzy and intent, noise and melody’ - Chris Sanley (KEXP - Music Director)

‘Expansive Post-Punk where no two songs sound alike’ - Sarah Downs (Rolling Stone AU/NZ)

‘The love I have for this band is so telling when the moment I see they’ve uploaded new music, I’m dropping everything to listen. And they never, ever disappoint.’ - Abby Butler (Triple J)
