Before Roger Rogerson and the crime and corruption of the 80s and 90s, King Street Newtown had a darker true crime and dark history to share. Come and hear some of the historical dark tales of old Newtown's past voiced by the author of Dark Tales of King Street Newtown, H L Jones.  As well as the reading, there are some fabulous surf and film noir-inspired tunes provided by local band, The Pill Poppers, plus the opportunity to share your own short dark tale of King Street with an open mic segment.
