WAM x Support Act presents - Creative Minds Boorloo/Perth

Join us as we reconnect with creativity and approach making music in new ways through Support Act x WAM’s interactive, creativity workshop.

Led by psychologist and creativity expert Ash King, challenge your existing notions of creativity through immersive activities -  all designed to boost divergent thinking, promote productivity and nurture creativity.

Whether your work takes you to the stage, the studio, on the road or behind the scenes join us to enhance your creative thinking and productivity in ways that are mindful, meaningful, connective and fun.

Join Ash King, Support Act's in-house psychologist and creativity expert, for an interactive workshop exploring how you can nurture conditions for a sustainable creative practice. Through interactive group activities and self-reflection prompts, you will explore the importance of play, environment, mindfulness and downtime, and learn how these conditions can serve to enhance your creative thinking and productivity.

What Can I Expect?
Creative Minds is an interactive workshop that runs from 12.30-4.30pm.

Capacity for these workshops is maxed out at 25, so that everyone has an opportunity to connect, contribute and ask questions.

*Please note, this session will not be catered.

Who Is It For?
Creative Minds has been designed for creatives working across the Australian music industry.

Whether your work has you making music, operating behind the scenes, on stage or on the road, there is always room to learn more about  how you can nurture conditions for a sustainable creative practice in ways that also support your own mental wellbeing.

What Will I Get?
Within the workshop, you’ll get the opportunity to meet and connect with other creatives working in music, and have the space to ask questions and receive support from the facilitator and special guest from the industry.
In addition to the one-day immersive workshop experience, you will also get a take-home creativity workbook which accompanies the session.

Please contact molly@wam.org.au if you can no longer make this session or ticket name change and we can see if your spot can be re-allocated to someone on the waitlist - please note no guarantees on this.
