COVID SAFE EVENT

* Important Event Update *

We have been nervously watching as Covid cases rise around the state (as we are sure you have too), and have had many (many) conversations and sleepless nights.   “Will this festival happen or not? We have run every possible scenario and honestly feel as though everything has been thrown at not just us but the whole country the last few weeks… BUT, together we have a plan we think you will like!

What we thought was impossible a week ago, is now going to happen. Were taking it one step further, to where no Australian Music Festival has gone before.

Test negative and youre good to go!

Every single person who enters the festival site: you as a ticket holder, volunteer, food vendor, crew and artists, vaccinated or unvaccinated will have undertaken a Rapid Antigen Test and provided a negative result via the Festival Testing Station. A small fee of $5 per test, person will apply and is payable after completing your negative test or will be deducted from your ticket refund online.  The testing station will be set up on Paxton Terrace (entry to the festival) on Saturday 5th February from 10am.

We know you will have a lot of questions, so we have prepared a FAQ sheet for you click or tap here to view.  The FAQ’s address:

  • what happens when you test negative,
  • what happens if you test positive,
  • what if you are considered a close contact, plus many more.

If there is something we have missed, please send us a DM.  Ticket holders will also be emailed with all the information on Monday.

This event is now 100% inclusive and also probably one of the safest events you can attend because of the testing and all other Covid Safe protocols, including social distancing and mask wearing, the chance of the virus being spread will be very low.

This testing regime is unprecedented (as far as we know) for a live music festival in Australia, so even though our brains trust, security team and medical team in consultation with the Regional Council of Goyder, Local Government Association of SA, SA Health and SAPOL have worked through every scenario.

Without the support of Regional Council of Goyder and Local Government Association of SA with their tireless assistance in helping us (going above and beyond) procure 1,200 RAT’s, the option to make this a safe event for everyone, just would not be possible.

Your patience will be needed when moving through the testing station, security check and ticketing.  We expect it should take each person around 20 to 30 minutes to move through the line.   So please bring a hat, slap on some sunscreen, hydrate and bear with us as together we make history in not just South Australia but Australia!

Together, Lets bring LIVE MUSIC back!

#CUHere in Burra 5th February 2022!

Thank you
